Is it nowadays possible to have a colourful dream in Milan? Gianni and Cosetta Colla’s theatre tries to make it possible by hosting La Freccia Azzurra (Gianni Rodari) in this city, which has accompanied the artistic continuity of one of the most important Italian puppet companies: the Colla family.

This photographic video follows the “Freccia Azzurra” plot from the stage to the backstage moments and perspective, in order to better discover the puppet world: an enchanted universe. 

An itinerary from the inanimate puppets to a wider view of the show describes emotions and moments of the actor/puppeeter’s life. Different photographic styles, matched with the choice of original Ugo Nastrucci music, have been used to better describe the feelings of the show, from calm to crisis. Brief thoughts narrated by an actor enriches the contents of the video.
